Healthy Snacking
Posted by MARY C

Snack attacks happen to the best of us. The trick is having something tasty on hand that doesn’t leave you feeling sluggish afterward. Luckily, healthy snacking doesn’t mean boring, it can actually be fun and delicious. Let’s dig in.
Nut Butter Bliss
Whether it’s peanut, almond, or cashew, nut butter is basically happiness in a jar. Spread it on toast, drizzle it over apple slices, or sneak a spoonful straight from the jar (no judgement). Packed with protein and good fats, it’s the perfect “I’m hungry but don’t want a full meal” solution.
Veggie Chips: Crunch, Minus the Guilt
Forget greasy crisps. Sweet potato, beet, or kale chips are crispy and delicious. Bonus points if you dip them in hummus.
Greek Yogurt Parfait
Layer Greek yogurt with berries, granola, and a drizzle of honey, and you’ve got a snack that feels like dessert but works like fuel. Creamy, crunchy, tangy and it’s a party for your taste buds.
Hummus & Veggies
Chickpeas deserve their own fan club. Pair hummus with carrot sticks, cucumbers, or bell peppers, and you’ve got a crunchy, creamy combo that’s both refreshing and filling.
Fruit Kabobs (With Chocolate, Obviously)
Thread strawberries, melon, and grapes on a stick, then dip them in dark chocolate. It’s healthy and you still get to eat chocolate.
Trail Mix for the Win
Nuts, seeds, dried fruit, maybe a square of chocolate trail mix is the snack equivalent of being prepared for anything.
So next time the snack craving hits, be strong and prep some healthy Snacks in advance. There are so many quick and filling options to make your world healthier and tastier.
